Prof. Dr. Mohammad Altamash - Awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz - One of the highest Presidential Awards for the First Dentist in Pakistan's History

Professor Dr. Mohammad Altamash has been awarded the Presidential Award of Sitara-e-Imtiaz by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in recognition of his invaluable contributions in the health sector.

On March 23, 2013, Professor Dr. Mohammad Altamash recorded yet another milestone in the history of dentistry in Pakistan by being the First Dentist ever to be awarded this prestigious award. It is a matter of great honor and inspiration for dentists in Pakistan.



Our vision is to provide an inspiring academic environment which delivers sound clinical education through highly qualified faculty contributing to our national duty as health care professionals.



We are teaching a new generation of clinicians to deliver oral health care with skill and compassion. At the AIDM, we aim to train dental practitioners who can exhibit competencies of professionalism, critical thinking, communication, leadership, health promotion, patient care, diagnosis, clinical treatment and evaluation at the completion of 4 year BDS degree program. We have post graduate programs in various dental specializations, which provide an opportunity to dental professionals to further advance their knowledge to compete in global health care market. We have continuing dental education programs for the professionals to assist them with their diverse needs of continuous professional growth through information, formal advanced training and other services. AIDM works for improving the health of diverse population by public health and community welfare programs.
